Essential Settings for Huawei Android 7.x Guide

These settings must be properly configured to keep the application (client app) working.

Battery Settings

  1. Settings > Battery > Power saving mode & Ultra power saving (1,2) 
    Set to “OFF”

     


  2. Settings > Battery > Gear icon > POWER USAGE FIREWALL > Power-intensive prompt & Close excessively power-intensive apps (1,2,3)
    Set to “OFF“

     

    Settings > Battery > Gear icon > CONNECTION DURING SLEEP > Keep WLAN on during sleep& Keep mobile data on during sleep (1,2,4)
    Set to “Always” & “ON”


Background App Setting

    1. Settings > Battery > Close apps after screen lock > Lock screen cleanup > System Service(1,2,3)
      Set to “OFF”

    2. Settings > Apps > System Service > App info > Permissions > Set individual permissions > Trust this app and App auto-launch (1,2,3) 
      Set to “ON”

    3. Phone manager > Cleanup > Gear icon > Auto cleanup (1,2,3)
      Set to “OFF”

       


    4. Phone manager > Cleanup > Gear icon > Memory cleanup whitelist > System  Service(1,2,3)
      Set to “ON“

Other Settings

No need to change these settings by default. But they will affect the application functions if changed by user.

Data Usage

  1. Settings > Mobile data > Data usage ranking > WLAN usage ranking > System  Service > Mobile data & WLAN (1,2,3,4,5)
    Set both to “ON”

  2. Settings > Mobile data > Networked apps > Networked apps > Installed apps & System apps > System Service (1,2,3,4)
    Set to “ON”

  3. Settings > Mobile data > Networked apps > Advanced network management > Installed apps & System apps > System Service (1,2,3,4)
    Set to “ON”

  4. Settings > Mobile data > Data saver > Unrestricted data access > System  Service (1,2,3,4)
    Set to “ON”

App Permission

Settings > Apps & Permissions > System Service > App info > Permission (select all) > Set individual permissions (select all) > Trust this app and App auto-launch (1,2,4)
Set to “ON“
